The Power of Presence

From Jabbi Delahaye’s print collection.

A black panther turns its gaze beyond the frame. Cool blue light traces the contours of its face and shoulders, revealing form within the dark fur. Against those deep tones, the amber eyes become a compelling point of focus.

Its stillness holds a sense of readiness. The attentive gaze, poised ears and fine sweep of whiskers suggest an animal fully engaged with its surroundings. Much remains concealed in shadow, giving each illuminated detail greater weight.

The portrait invites reflection on a strength expressed through awareness and composure—the ability to occupy a space with assurance, without demanding attention.

The Power of Presence asks us to linger with that quiet intensity: to notice how a glance can hold us, how darkness can reveal, and how much can be communicated before anything moves.
